Valley Oaks (VO) Chapter CDS

                                                Meeting Minutes        

Date: October 19th, 2011, 7:00pm

Meeting called to order @ 7:04pm

Members/Guests Present

Suzanne Breen, Jenny Breen, Riki Herrera, Beverly Stevens, Patti Kremer, Donna Holmes, Michelle Pappone-Beedy, Michele Vaughn.           

Approval of Prior Minutes

Minutes from the last meeting were read.  Corrections made: Ending VO balance as of 8/17/11 is $2,603.90.  JR/YR Clinician is Jeremy Steinberg.  Motion to approve and second by Donna Holmes and Michele Vaughn.

Treasurer’s Report

Current balance as of  Oct. 19th, 2011 is $2,591.95. 

Old Business

Valley Oaks Show:  Valley oaks will be receiving $500.00 for our show that was held in conjunction with CDS Juniors Championship.

Update on RAAC for 2012: VO and Sac Valley will co-host the RAAC show.  Michele Vaughn will keep in touch with Sac Valley on this matter.

Nominations for Valley Oaks 2012 Positions

The following nominations will appear on the Valley Oaks Ballot to be e-mailed to VO Members:

Chair: Michele Vaughn

Vice Chair: Donna Holmes

Secretary: Patty Kremer

Treasurer: Michelle Pappone-Beedy

Ballots can be mailed to Patti Kremer or printed out and brought to the next meeting.

New Business

Our schedule to watch the USDF New Test DVD has been changed.  It will be at our next meeting date of 11/16/11, location will be Michele Vaughn’s house.  We will have pizza and salad provided by Valley Oaks Chapter.  A short meeting will take place first to tally ballots received for the Valley Oaks Board.

Michele Vaughn will look into transferring the Valley Oaks bank account to a closer bank.  This motion was approved by Donna Holmes and second by Michele Vaughn.

Valley Oaks will have an ad in the Omnibus advertising our 2012 show & referral to our web site for more information.

Another change in clinic is for the “Corky” presentation.  This is tentatively scheduled to take place either January 11^th or the 25^th.  Donna Holmes will check with Corky and confirm the date and location.

There will not be a meeting for December.  January 2012 meeting is tentative based upon the “Corky” Clinic date.    

Next meeting set for Wednesday, November 16^th, 2010 @ 6:30pm, Michele Vaughn’s house.
