VALLEY OAKS CHAPTER CDS

MEETING MINUTES

NOVEMBER 20, 2008

The meeting was called to order November 20^th at 7:30 pm at Fat Mike’s Pizza, Sheldon, and CA. by Cindy Luellen, Vice-Chair.

Members present were:  Cindy Luellen, Heidi Chote, Michelle Pappone-Beedy, Susan Wren, Suzanne Breen, Jenny Breen, Anne Tudesko, and Donna Holmes. 

Treasure’s report was tabled since the new treasurer did not have time to prepare the statement.

Old minutes were also tabled because the secretary was absent and a copy of the minutes prepared for October was not available.

Under new business, a motion was presented and passed to place a notice on the website in honor of Michele Canfield’s husband who was killed in the line of duty as a policeman.

 Also under new business, the Amateur Clinic was discussed and a motion was made and passed to send a check to Bobbie Keville to pay for the Amateur Clinic.

Susie Wren mentioned Winter VO Events and Pilates were discussed.  Donna mentioned that it should be an activity to keep people interested.  Anne Tudesko mentioned that Sandra Hotz, a judge that she scribed for at SVE Dressage Show, was interested in clinicing in this area.  An Ann Howard Clinic was also discussed.

The next meeting, January was scheduled to remind members of the Amateur Clinic & its dates, and that anyone eligible must submit their Bios by the February Meeting for the drawing of the member’s name that will be picked to attend.

January is also the meeting before the CDS Annual Meeting…

The January date for the next scheduled meeting is Jan. 8, 2009 at Fat Mike’s at 7:30 PM.
